| Ordinate Announces New Vice President of Engineering |
|
MENLO PARK, CA, July 9, 2004 - As Ordinate Corporation scales up its operations to keep pace with briskly growing demand
for its services, the company announced today that it is promoting Mike Barbarino to the role of Vice President, Engineering.
In this position, he will be responsible for all software development, quality assurance, operations, and infrastructure.
Mike joined Ordinate in October 2002 from Siebel Systems, where he served as a Principal Engineer.
Since March of this year he has managed Ordinate’s Java development activities. Prior to Siebel,
Mike served at a senior technical level at several systems and software companies including Netscape Communication and Xerox AODS.
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a M.S. in Computer Science, both from the University of Santa Clara.
“Mike has done a fabulous job managing Java development at Ordinate.
His technical expertise is both deep and broad, steeped in 25 years of experience in the software industry.
I look forward to working with Mike in his new role.
His promotion is an important step as we scale up Ordinate’s Research and Development organization to be able to handle
