| Ordinate Corporation and Nathan Sign Letter of Intent for French Publication |
Ordinate Spoken English Tests to be Published in Nathan’s BAC Test Prep Books

Menlo Park, CA - (February 2, 2004). Ordinate Corporation, a language assessment provider, announced today that the company
has signed a letter of intent with Editions Nathan, a major publishing company in France. Under the terms of the arrangement,
Nathan will publish fully-automated Ordinate skills-focused tests in Nathan’s latest editions of ABC BAC Anglais,
Le Guide and ABC BAC Anglais, Les Sujets, both annual test preparation books designed to prepare French students for the BAC test.
The inclusion of Ordinate tests gives students studying for the BAC a practical way to quickly assess their spoken English skills.
The tests to be included in Le Guide and Les Sujets are phone-delivered and scoring is completely automated.
A test taker will dial a toll-free phone number, enter a credit card number, and immediately connect to Ordinate’s test delivery system.
The test taker will hear recorded voices guiding the test taker through various tasks. After the test taker has completed the test,
he or she can retrieve the test score typically within minutes on Nathan’s website.
